To strike the tab key, reach your left fourth finger out in an up, diagonal-left motion. The caps lock key is used to capitalize all letters until the key is pressed again. To strike the caps lock key, move your left fourth finger (or pinkie finger) to the left. The shift key is pressed by the pinky finger on the hand opposite to the one hitting the key. So, if you are typing a capital A, S, D, F or G use the shift key on the right side of the keyboard, with the right pinky finger.
