       Gravitational force is involved while walking down a slope.

  • Whenever we walk downhill we get an extra torque which enables us walk faster in slopes.
  • Whereas walking uphill or in a straight road is little harder because we need to use force for that.
  • Specially walking up hill we need to go against the gravity.
  • The law of physics is working here.

Frictional force acts when walking down a slope

Explanation:

when a body is moving against a surface, the produces another force which acts on the body, is called frictional force.

Formula =   f=μ N

  where, f= frictional force

               μ= coefficient of friction.

               N= normal force.
