The Coriolis force ​ is responsible for the deflection of wind from its normal path. This force deflects winds towards the right in the Northern hemisphere and towards the left in the Southern hemisphere.This mainly happens due to the rotation of the earth which cause coriolis force to occur and deflect winds.
