Till date Democratic forms of government have been the most popular type of government all over the world. Except Cuba, China, North Korea, and some African countries wherein communism is more prevalent. Russia, Syria, Iran, and some Middle Eastern countries have democratic leaders who are presidents elected by the people and were popular.Iran is an Islamic Republic but there is a presidential position elected by the people. Egypt is under republicanism. Libya is actually a failed state as a result of US-Anglo-French aggression on Gaddafi.Turkey, Iraq, almost all of the countries in the Americas, Australia and Oceania, Japan, South Korea, and Europe, India and Lebanon have democratic governments. Democracy is infact a humble beginning to good governance in any country.
