Sulphur hexafluoride.  S F6.

Dielectric gases (not conducting) are used as insulators in high voltage electrical and telecommunication equipment and circuits..  SF6 has a dielectric constant of 2.  It is non toxic too.

So the potential needed to generate sparks in the gases will be higher than voltage needed in air.  They are meant for protection..  used in antennas , wave guides,  switchgears, and circuit breakers of high tension.
