When dilute sulphuric acid is added to pieces of iron sulphide, hydrogen sulphide gas is produced.

Sulfuric acid - diluted solution. when zinc reacts with dilute sulphuric acid, Zinc sulphate is formed & Hydrogen gas is evolved.

When Fe reacts with dilute H2SO4, ferrous (II) sulphate with the evolution of hydrogen gas is formed. 

Fe+H2SO4→FeSO4+H2
