When baking soda reacts with vinegar carbon dioxide gas is produced which is used in other projects.

Equation is

NaHCo3 + CH3COOH= Co2 +H2O + Na+ CH3OO

Here the reaction takes place in two steps ,Carbon dioxide gas formed escapes from the solution in the form of bubbles.Sodium and acetate ions are liberated in the solution .Sodium acetate is formed and carbon dioxide gas is liberated.
