Which gas is evolved when sulphur is treated with concentrated nitric acid?

sulphuric acid is released with liberation of nitrogen di oxide

As nitric acid is a strong oxidising agent so as soon as hydrogen is released in the reaction it get oxidised and turn into water thus when sulphur is treated with concentrated nitric acid water is formed
