The option D is correct. Hydrogen gas is known as Fuel of Future. Hydrogen gas is colourless. It has neither taste nor smell. It is not only Fuel of future but also lightest gas. It does not support combustion but burns in the air to make water, and when mixed with oxygen produces an explosive mixture. It is manufactured by several processes the among which are the action of steam on heated carbon.

Answer: a

Explanation: The fuel is burnt in the presence of oxygen to generate energy in the form of heat. This heat energy can be used for electrical power generation in steam power plants and for propelling ships, automobiles and locomotives, etc.
