Which gas is produced on dehydrohalogenation of ethyl iodide? ​

SN2 substitution. Iodide is good leaving group and hydroxyl will attact at the alpha carbon (carbon bonded to iodine in this case) from the back (donating its electron pair into antibonding orbital of C-I bond)
