HCl is released

sodium(Na) is high reactive than hydrogen so it displaced it.

similarly the reaction took place .

the formed products are sodium sulphate and hydrochloric acid.

Answer:

NaCl + H2SO4 → HCl + NaHSO4

Explanation:

1. Fumes of HCL release when solid sodium chloride reacts with sulphuric acid.

2. According to the Law of conservation, chloride ions converted into hydrogen chloride molecules. As there are no other compounds on the right side that contains chlorine atoms and of course we can not convert sulphur atoms, so chlorine ions end up converting into hydrogen chloride.

3. When we react dry litmus paper with HCL there will be no reaction, but when we react it with wet litmus paper it will turn red, this is because of the protons and chloride ions that don't dissociate in dry condition but in the wet condition, they dissociate and give red color to litmus paper
