Explanation:

Hydrogen gas is liberated.

You can test the presence by bringing a burning match bear it. I'd it burns with a pop sound it indicates presence of hydrogen.

Example-:

nitric acid + calcium → calcium nitrate + hydrogen

Answer:

The gas which is liberated out is hydrogen. First in a holder place a testing containing H2SO4 and put some granules of zinc into it . Now seal the test tube with a cork attached with a delivery tube. Place the other end of the delivery tube in a beaker full og soap solution. Now we will observe that bubbles are coming out of the soap solution . When a candle in brought near the bubbles , it will burst with a pop sound. And only hydrogen gas burns with a pop sound. Hence proved.
