Answer:

Exhalation and gas exchange

The main reason for exhalation is to rid the body of carbon dioxide, which is the waste product of gas exchange in humans. Air is brought in the body through inhalation. During this process air is taken in through the lungs. ❤

Answer:

Carbon dioxide is the gas needed to be removed during exhalation. CO2 need to be exhaled because it's excess concentration prevents the binding of oxygen with haemoglobin and thus causing problem. Hence it is released.

But N2 gas, water vapour are also released along with it. Since no N2 gas is utilised the same amount we inhale the same we will exhale hence it is not considered.
