There is another type of gland called an exocrine gland (e.g. sweat glands, lymph nodes). These are not considered part of the endocrine system as they do not produce hormones and they release their product through a duct.

By the definition of hormone we get that, hormones are the fluid-substance that get secreted by the glands but it is necessary that all the glands should have to secret hormones. There are some glands which are responsible for the excretion of the waste products of the body. So, the excretory glands do not secret hormones. The excretory glands are specially the rectum and the urinary gland and they do not secret any kind of hormone.
