Which would require a greater force body accelerating a 5 m/s² of 5kg mass (or) bodyacceleration at 7 m/s² of 3 kg mass.
Given :
Acceleration and mass of a body are 5m/s² and 5 kg
Acceleratin and mass of the another body is 7 m/s² and 3 kg
To find :
Body which requires greater force
Solution :
The relation between Force , mass and acceleration is given by ,

Now , The force required by the body in first case is ,

Hence , The force required by the body with mass 5 kg and acceleration 5 m/s² is 25 N.
Force required by another body is ,

Hence , The Force required by the body with mass 3 kg and acceleration 7 m/s² is 21 N
We can say that ,
Force required by the body with mass 5 kg and acceleration 5 m/s² is more than the force required by the body with mass 3 kg and 7 m/s² . ( Since 25 N > 21 N)
∴ The body with 5 kg mass and 5 m/s² requires greater force.
