Function:-
- Function is correction of data such that for every input value there are only one output.
- If for any input value there are more than one output value, it can not be a function.
- It can be understand by taking:
Y = F(X)
Here X is input value.
While Y is output value for corresponding value of X.
For criteria of function:
- If there are one value of Y for any value of X, it will be function.
- If there are more than one value of Y for any value of X, it will not be function.
Now come to question:
- Graph A: There are only one value of Y for every value of X , So it is a function.
- Graph B: There are maximum two value of Y for every value of X , So it is not a function.
- Graph C: There are only one value of Y for every value of X , So it is function.
