Noble gases could be placed in Mendeleev's periodic table without disturbing the original order. According to Mendeleev's classification the properties of the elements are the periodic function of the atomic masses that was a periodic repetition of elements with similar physical and chemical properties in his table. Noble gas being chemically inert could be placed in a separate group without disturbing the original order.
