Answer:

The French Revolution was a struggle to limit the powers of the monarchy (or completely remove the monarchy later). It was mainly based on the idea of establishing ideas of democratic structure in the country of France.

If you didn't know, the old French society (before 1789) was composed of three estates, the Clergy (Churchmen), the Nobles (king) and the Commoners (or the third estate). The first two estates, namely the Clergy and Nobles, enjoyed the privileges, owned land and levied taxes on the third estate.

The Commoners were really angry and tired of the taxes levied on them (you can read the TB for more info of the taxes). They decided to change the system with the middle class (doctors, businessmen, teachers, philosophers), and succeeded in throwing out the monarchy.

The Commoners benefitted the most from the revolution, while the first and second estate were forced to give their property and power. They were the ones who were disappointed with the outcome.

The mindset of women was completely different during this Revolution. They were never satisfied throughout the struggle. They were not given political and economic rights (though they got social rights). This was continued till 1946 when they finally won the right to vote.

Pls mark me brainliest. I wrote this all by myself! :D
