The electrolysis process occurs in an electrolytic cell in which DC current is use to make non-spontaneous redox reaction of electrolysis.  

At anode:

The oxidation process occurs at anode of electrolytic cell of the electrolysis process.  

At cathode:

The reduction process occurs at cathode of electrolytic cell of the electrolysis process.
