Excessive amount of these particles can cause breathing problem . Burning of coal and diesel realses sulphur dioxide gas. It also dissolve in water vapour to produce sulphuric acid.when it rain ,the acid,thus produced ,can damage building, plants and trees .such rain is called acid rain.
