M1 = 2kg

M2= 1kg

V1 = 3m/s

V2 = 6m/s

First We will find K.E. of M1 and V1

K.E.(1) = 1/2 ×MV2

= 1/2 ×.2×3

K.E. (1) = 3 J

K.E.(2) = 1/2 Mv2

= 1/2 × 1 × 6

= 3m/s

So Both Having Same Kinetic Energy

To find:

Which object has higher KE ?

Calculation:

Kinetic Energy of 1st object:

KE1 = ½ × m × v²

=> KE1 = ½ × 2 × 3²

=> KE1 = 9 Joule.

Kinetic Energy of 2nd object:

KE = ½ × m × v²

=> KE = ½ × 1 × 6²

=> KE = 18 Joule.

So, 2nd object has higher KE .
