Length of rectangle =42cm

Breadth of rectangle =28cm

Perimeter of rectangle =2(length+breadth)

=2(42+28)

=2×70=140

Therefore Perimeter of rectangle =140cm

Side of square given =39cm

We know, perimeter of square =4×side

=4×39=156cm

Therefore, Perimeter of square =156cm

Therefore, square has bigger perimeter than rectangle

156 cm-140cm = 16cm

Therefore, square has bigger perimeter than rectangle by 16 cm

Have a nice day!!
