prince2670: doubling the velocity because k =1/2*m*v square and assume one by one m=2m and v=2v we get high kinetic energy as compare to doubleing of mass

E_{k} is directly proportional to the mass m

while
E_{k} is directly proportional to the square of velocity v^{2}

So Doubling the velocity has greater effect( as it is squared) than the effect of Doubling mass
