Steam at 100 degree C has more energy than water at the same temperature.
Steam possesses the additional latent heat of vaporisation. When steam falls on our hand and condense to form water , it gives out 22.5×10^5 j/kg more heat than boiling water. Thus steam has more energy than water at the same temperature.
