The resistance of human skin varies from person to person.
However the amount of resistance is different with dry and wet skin.
Dry skin is more resistant to electric shocks as it has a resistance of 100,000 ohms.
On the other hand the resistance of wet skin is very low and is about 1000 ohms.
Water is also a good conductor of electricity and so current can pass at greater rate for wet skin as compared to dry one.
