Answer:
Madras High Court has made National song ‘Vande Mataram’ mandatory in Tamil Nadu schools.
Explanation:
The Madras high court had given ordered that the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ be made obligatory in all academic areas and government or private corporations in Tamil Nadu.
Justice M.V. Muralidharan made this ruling in July 2017.
As according to judgement, the national song should be played and sung in all colleges, schools and universities as a minimum once per week, ideally on Monday or Friday and in government places of work, private agencies, factories and industries as a minimum once a month.
