The Purvanchal Mountains, or Eastern Mountains is not part of mynammar part of himalyan.

This is a sub mountain range in north east india.

It lies to the south of brahmaputra valley and covers the following states:

Assam, Tripura , Manipur, Arunanchal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalya

It is not attached to the myanmar part of the himalaya.

The mountains spreads the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
