the hypothesis Is that endocrine factors from the pituitary and hypothalamus directly influence the development and function of the immune system. Both pituitary and hypothalamic hormones interfere with lymphocyte proliferation and function.

There are many hormones which regulate immune system like sex hormones helps females in puberty and embryogenesis. Other hormones are prolactin ,growth hormones.
