After the War, Hitler was working for the German army as a spy, and when he wasassigned to spy on the German Worker's Party in 1919, he met a man called Dietrich Ecktart, leader and founder of the party:So, seeing that the party was not actuallya left-wing party, Hitler gave a speech in front of the small group of men that were there. Hitler got to know Ecktart, and soon discovered that he sympathised with many of his ideas. For a certain amount of time, Ecktart taught Hitler about his views on the world, and this influenced Hitler to join his ideas with those of Ecktart, and created what he called National Socialism. He changed the name and the banner of the party, and was namedleader.In 1923, Hitler and theNazi stormtroopers, the SA, decided to go to a famous pub in Munich, where important members of the government were gathered. He planned to convince them by means of force that he was supposed to be the new leader of Germany(basically, overthrowing the government). This failed, and Hitler wentto jail for 9 months(I'm just summarizing this all, there's a whole lot more of stuff that doesn't exactly answer your question).While in jail, he wrote a book, called Mein Kampf, that showed his views in politics and especially on the Jewish community. This book is still usedby historians as a study guide to National Socialism since it shows Hitler'sviews on his utopian dream of a society.
