cdm was launched in 1930 by Gandhi ji
it is 1st supported by industrialist like GD birla there large no. of women are participated which is most important feature of this movement
peaceful movement were attached large no. of women and children are beaten about 10000 are arrested when abdul gafar khan arrested then many protest started .and many violent incident were reported due to this Gandhi ji decided to call off this movement and enter into a pact with Irwin in 5th march 1931
