causes of french revolution:-
1. anarchy and royal absolutism- the french ruling dynasty was absolute and had complete  powers, nobody could question the royal orders and this led to anarchy in france.

2.wide gap among economic classes-the french society was divied among 3 distinct economic classes i.e.1st estate (clergy)
2nd estate (royal classes)
3rd estate (buisnessmen, peasants, workers etc...)
the first 2 estaes comprised of 5% of the total population but owned 95% of total resources

2.the social order of France was marked by gross inequalities. The clegy and nobility were privileged by birth. They were exempted from paying taxes.
3.the third estate was forced to pay taxes and render services, they were unprivileged by birth.
4.the financial crisis due to an empty treasury forced the situation
5.in France people had no share in decision-making. Therefore they were profoundly discontented.
