In order to reduce casualties in Pulwama type attacks, 'combat drugs’ have been developed by INAMS.

INAMS is the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, which is a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation.

These drugs include glycerated salines, highly absorptive dressings and bleeding wound sealants to save lives and minimise casualties while the soldiers are shifted to hospital.
