The Indian navy vessel INSV Tarini had an all women crew and circumnavigated the globe in 8 months to return to India in May 2018. It was India's second ocean going sailboat. It is the first of its kind expedition by the Indian navy. The sailboat was built by M/s Aquarius Shipyard, Divar, Goa. The name of the vessel comes from the Tara Tarini Temple.
