Answer: Jute industry suffered maximum during partition.
There were 108 mills with 69000 loom capacity ,which remained in West Bengal of India and all Jute growing area went to East Bengal of Pakistan.
India had to import raw jute to run the factories at high cost. And Pakistan was not cooperating.
