The replacement of vacuum tubes by transistors resulted in the evolution of second generation computer.

Explanation:

The transistors were first designed in 1947 but weren’t utilized impressively in PC's and its usage was discontinued in 1950's. They were an immense improvement over the vacuum tube, regardless of the reality as yet exposing PC's to decimating various degrees of warmth.

They were very better than the vacuum tubes, making PCs littler, progressively quick, reasonable and less troublesome on power use. Despite everything they were used in punched card for information/printouts.
