Which iron will corrode more quickly impure iron nail or well polished iron nail and why?

impure nail will corrode fast as it is free to get things necessary for rusting I.e water ,oxygen ,etc
but an well polished nail will not get water ,oxygen so it will not rust

Whereas a well polished iron nail has a protective layer of polish which avoids the contact of iron nail with air or moisture etc. As a result, this polished iron nail will not corrode easily.
