Answer:

1. Space exploration allows us to prepare for potential hazards.

The universe is a vast place where hidden dangers could be lurking almost anywhere. Even if you consider only our solar system, there are asteroid and comet threats which could devastate our planet if an impact were to occur. Exploring space gives us an opportunity to locate these hazards in advance to prepare an encounter that could help to preserve our race.

Then there are the interstellar items to consider. Oumuamua, or 11/2018 U1, was discovered by the Pan-STARRS1 telescope in 2017 by the University of Hawaii through funding from the Near-Earth Object Observations Program. It was originally thought to be an asteroid, then a comet since it was accelerating, and up to 10 times as long as it was wide. These items could create interstellar impacts as well.

Answer:

The major advantage of using space observatories is that they helps us to see those distant celestial objects(planets like Jupiter, asteroids) that we can't see with your naked eyes and also those that we can see through your naked eye (like, moon , mars) but in clear way. They are basically a big telescope that enlarge our concept in understanding our universe by finding many celestial bodies.

In simple word, they are those telescopes that are covered from every side except from one from where we see and explore the universe. All the sides covered to prevent the disturbance from light that come from respective sides.

They are built on those place where the sky is much clear than any other place like in Atacama, Leh-Ladakh(Himalayan region), etc. to prevent the blurness (from cloud or rain droplet or dust) that occur during space exploration.

That's all
