There used to be a time when Breaking Bad and GOT were compared to each other by fans to see which among the two was better. This was before the producers of GOT decided to settle this debate once and for all in favor of Breaking Bad by ruining the last season of GOT.
Many would argue that genres of both the shows is different and therefore can`t be compared which is true up to a certain extent. The thing is we are comparing them on criteria s which are comparable like : character arcs, plot development, story-line. According to me a good show starts slow, develops the story and then picks up it`s pace which is exactly what happens in Breaking Bad. The first two seasons of this show are boring, might sound a bit harsh but that`s the way it is. It`s a build up to all the drama that starts unfolding from season 3 on-wards which is simply mind blowing. There is no loop hole in the story, each and every character is given sufficient time on screen for his/her character arc to complete. The journey of Walter white from a high school teacher to a kingpin drug dealer is amazing. The last season of this show is probably the greatest ending to any show.
Thus we can say that Breaking Bad is a far superior show than Game of thrones by all means.
