Ask yourself the question ,”where do you want to see yourself 6 years from now”. It the answer is research then go for Bsc. If you’re not very sure about it then go for B.tech. Whichever you choose you will make a successful career completely depending on your input,sincerity and passion with the subject. Just because you’re pursuing Bsc. doesn't mean you cannot learn the things they teach in B.tech. You’ve got the internet , the sky is the limit with a subject like biotechnology . Go and learn all you can , whatever you want. Don’t follow the degree. Follow your passion to learn and find yourself in the amazing world of biotechnology. There are many examples of seniors from my college who took Bsc. in biotech after failing their medical entrances . People told them it’s useless pursuing Bsc. They kept their passion alive. Today they’re scientists working in protein research institute in Denmark ,Max plank institute and also in institutes like the BHABA . It’s their passion, patience and the love for the subject that took them there not their degrees .
