Few things you can do.


*Learn Basic Words
Some Nouns:
Food - khana 
water - pani
Book  - Kitab
Umbrella-Chatta
 
Some Pronouns:
I - mein 
He - woh / Usne
She - who 
You - tum / aap (respect)
It - yeh 
What - kya 

Some verbs:
to eat - khana, kha 
to be hungry - bhukh lagna 
to drink - pina 
to be thirsty - pyas lagna 
to sleep - sona 
to sit - baethna 
to give - dena 
to fly - udna 
etc.

*Try to use them wherever its possible even if it is wrong.
*Try to listen talks when people speak Hindi .even if they will see you with anger:)
Listen as much as possible
* Start watching Some random Documentary with subtitle and then without subtitle it will give you good understanding i told you Documentary its take less time and more interesting.
*Start watching Hindi Movies with subtitle few I can suggest which are my all time favorite
