MEDICAL :- I am giving u this information on the basis of my experience and i am a MBBS student ..
see, there is a surety of job in this profession ,you don't have to be dependent on any other person to earn money , and its a very nobel profession , society have a very diff. perspective of respect for this profession
the only two demerits i feel are , u will have a very busy schedule it may be possible that u won't have time for your self either and another is that there is no end to studies u have to constantly be up-to-date with the latest technologies ....
ENGINEERING:- There is a low surety of jobs , but its quite interesting to study , people who find jobs may have a decent amount of time to spend with their families and on oneself... if one takes his studies seriously u can get astonishing package
and again it totally depends on you what u enjoy doing ..
