Parallel circuits is better way to connect lights and other electric appliances in domestic wiring because :
1.In parallel circuits we have separate switches for each bulb or electric appliances due to which it can be turn on or off independently without affecting other appliances.
2. Each electrical appliances get the same voltage of 220 volt as that of the power supply line in parallel circuits.
3.If an electrical appliance stops working due to some problem then all other appliances keep working normally in this circuits.
4. In parallel circuits the magnitude of resistance is minimum due to which the current from the power supply is high. Hence every appliance can therefore draw the required amount of current.
