Which is bigger in size sodium or potassium why

potassium beacuse the electronic configuration of potasium is 2,8,8,1 so it lies in first group nd in 4 period also the wlectronic configuration of sodium is 2,8,1 it lie in grp 1 but it has only 3 shells nd potassium has four shells so the distance between nucleus and nd valence shell increases in case of potassium then that of sodium
