Function of Pancreas:

A long, flat gland behind the stomach and lying in the abdomen called Pancreas, for the digestion purpose, It secretes some enzymes called trypsin and chymotrypsin and amylase are directly into the bloodstream and then enter into ducts, called endocrine function.

After releasing of the enzyme, the food particles are broke down into smaller particles and then it is absorbed by the bloodstream.
