WIND :-

  • Wind is a powerful force that can readily move objects. Hurricanes, tornadoes, and storms generate a lot of wind.
  • Wind is the term used to describe the movement of air in our atmosphere.

The action of the wind are as follows :-

1. Deflation :- The wind removes sand and dust particles. In the desert, it causes depressions.

2. Abrasion :- It is a wind-driven action in which sand particles carried by the wind collide with the rock.

3. Attrition :- It is the result of sand particles transported by the wind colliding with each other.
