It totally depends on what you want to become…!!

Both the professions are equally good and have thier own pros and cons. It is not justified to compare any job with any other.

You become a doctor and you will be respected by everyone..!! Every day you will get to hear “doc sahab doc sahab”..and surely it feels good.

But is it possible for a doctor to do his job efficiently without the help of an engineer? All the machines used for diagnosis, for treatment etc require engineers for their designing and manufacturing…!

Almost everything that we use has involvement of an engineer in some way or the other. And yes when some body is I'll …no one can help except a doctor.

So the choice is totally yours. But Being a doctor I can tell you one thing…that if you choose medical be prepared to invest many years in studies…the reason being not that engineering or other courses are easy or something..but that your value is very less if you are only an mbbs and not a postgraduate..whereas in engineering you get great placement as soon as you are done with the 3rd year…and it is your wish to continue with the job or with studies..there is no hardcore compulsion of being a postgrad…although almost everyone nowadays is pursuing MBA etc but still you have an option..but in medicine as much as I have come across..postgrad is a must..!!

Also, according to me all the courses whether science courses or commerce or humanities have thier own importance and level of difficulty.

It is probably the biggest myth that medicine is difficult…!! I believe engineering is more tough..!! Medicine is not difficult…it is only lengthy and time consuming. Courses like CA, CS, Engineering, LLB etc have their own level of difficulties and competition.

Please decide what you want to do for the rest of your life…and what type of lifestyle you want to adopt.

Nothing is good.... you just need to have your interest in that particular thing. I'm gonna be an engineer in some part of my life as it's my aim.Haha...lol.. why I'm telling this?......Just sharing my views.
