x.

• 2x/5 - x/10 = 288

=> x = 960

Assuming the number to be 'x'

3/5 of 2/3 of number is 2x/5 and 2/5 of 1/4 of same number is x/10

And according to the statement above,

2x/5 - x/10 = 288

We get,

$\implies \bf{3x = 2880}$
