In cases where the denominator is different and you have to find which is greater, you have make the denominator same through the method of L.C.M.

Here the fractions are -2/3 and -4/7(Better not keep negative in denominator. Bring the negative to numerator)

The denominators are 7 and 3.

Their L.C.M = 21

So multiply 3's numerator, -2 with 7 and 7's numerator (-4) with 3

You will get -14/21 and -12/21

Clearly -12/21 is greater [In negative integers, the smaller value is

greater]

That means -4/7 is greater than -2/3
