which is greater --- a low rise in temperature on the Celsius scale or a low rise in temperature on the Fahrenheit scale?

a raise of 1 deg C = a rise of 1.8 F
F = C * 9/5  + 32
1 degree raise in C equaivalent to 1.8 deg in F
1 degree change in F is equivalent to 0.555 on C

So raise on centigrade scale is greater.
