Which is greater: an acceleration from 40 km/h to 45 km/h, or an acceleration from 100 km/h to 110 km/h, if both occur in the same time interval? Explain your answer.

We know a =v-u/t

In the first case a1 = 45-40/t
In the second case a2 = 110-100/t
a1/a2 = 5/10
a1/a2 = 1/2
So , 2a1 = a2

So clearly a2 is greater in magnitude .
